Allocate Software sponsored this year’s HealthShare NSW and eHealth NSW Expo held at Rosehill Racecourse on August 3rd. We shared our exhibition booth with the team from the eHealth NSW Corporate IT Rostering Program, displaying the strong and successful relationship the two organisations have forged.
eHealth NSW has been implementing Allocate’s rostering solution in the largest state-wide deployment of a health rostering system in Australia, with more than 150,000 to be rostered by the end of 2018. eHealth NSW experts Lauren Hollway and Laura Lo Iacono Lo at the booth guided attendees through the rostering software product features and benefits for hospitals and local district health boards.
Allocate’s Program Manager for NSW Health Fabi Santos, showcased a number of its solutions at the Expo including the tablet ready version of the product. This version provides visibility of staffing levels across wards and departments, letting healthcare staff maintain patient care based on patient numbers, acuity and dependency. It also enables day-to-day operational changes to a roster in real-time and facilitates the redeployment of staff across wards to avoid under- or over-staffing. The team showcased the product via live demos on iPad, so attendees could view features like staffing status, managing sickness and tracking attendance in real time.
A lot of the conversations at this year’s event were around the ever-increasing demand for mobile based solutions. The benefits of empowering the workforce by placing key information about their work in their hands is a strong focus for Allocate.
Thanks to everyone who came and spoke to us and to the organisers for making this year’s event so successful! The team at Allocate look forward to next year’s event.
