We're searching for a Pre-Sales Consultant to join our Solution Advisory team, so that we can support pre-sales activities that drive compelling, client-focused solutions across our healthcare portfolio. The Pre-Sales Consultant will deliver technical demonstrations, assist with bid responses, and engage in assessment consultancy projects, collaborating with sales, product, and delivery teams to craft persuasive proposals and address client requirements that support vital healthcare transformations. Reporting to Cheryl Paterson, you'll work closely with Solutions Consultants, the bid team, and the broader sales team across the UK and Ireland, with travel to customer sites as required.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • Delivering structured technical presentations and live demonstrations to prospective clients, ensuring clear alignment with customer requirements and product capabilities
  • Developing and maintaining demonstration materials and scripts, in order to keep content aligned with evolving product features and client feedback
  • Contributing to the technical sections of tender responses, supporting the creation of persuasive and accurate bid documentation for sales opportunities
  • Engaging with stakeholders through meetings, questionnaires, and site visits in order to gather and clarify technical and operational requirements
  • Analysing client environments and workflows to identify inefficiencies, drivers for change, and areas for solution value, translating findings into actionable recommendations that quantify ROI opportunities
  • Building and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of product features, the industry landscape, and competitor offerings in order to support product comparisons and technical solution recommendations
  • Supporting the delivery of structured consultancy assessments, contributing to data gathering, analysis, and the production of high-quality outputs using established methodologies and tools

What Kind of Things We're Most Interested in You Having

  • A minimum of 2 years' pre-sales experience, or 2 years using an RLD product or similar
  • Proven success in collaborating with cross-functional teams to create bid responses and participate in technical demonstration sessions
  • In-depth knowledge of how to communicate technical information clearly, creating concise technical summaries for clients and well-structured content for team presentations
  • Experience developing technical responses for routine bids and building proposals that address client-specific operational requirements
  • Working knowledge of product capabilities and the competitive landscape to support product comparisons and technical solution recommendations
  • Understanding of, and experience in, the healthcare industry, preferably in software
  • Confidence and experience delivering presentations to prospective end users and C-suite stakeholders
  • Sincere interest in making a positive change in healthcare
  • A knack for working collaboratively within a dynamic, sales-focused environment
