Reigning Project-Focused History Buff
Gunilla Wamme is our Sweden-based Management Consultant. With 10 years at RLDatix, Gunilla has managed projects in multiple municipalities and held tailored workshops.
From her current role at RLDatix to her hobbies outside of work, we got to know Gunilla a little better during our recent chat.
Why did you decide to join RLDatix?
More than 10 years ago, Gunilla applied to be a Management Consultant because the job description matched her desires for further development, and she hasn’t looked back since.
What keeps you working here?
She points out, “I like the challenging assignments and that there is variation between them. I have the freedom to manage my responsibilities as I deem fit.”
What does your role at RLDatix entail?
Gunilla shares that her favorite part of her role is managing projects in several municipalities. However, she also holds workshops and multiple trainings for our management services.
What’s it like working on your immediate team?
Simply put, Gunilla thinks our colleagues and her manager are fantastic and most enjoys our kickoffs where everyone comes together.
What inspired you to work in Professional Services?
Having previously worked as a Project Manager implementing systems, moving into Professional Services felt like a logical step. Not to mention that Gunilla enjoys traveling and finds meeting people to be rewarding.
Have any advice for people looking to join the field themselves?
She advises that one should “be prepared for peaks and troughs in the workload.”
Outside of work, what are you up to? Tell us a bit about yourself!
In her free time, Gunilla is focused on physical activity and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoys skiing, cycling, running, and different group trainings.
When she relaxes, she enjoys reading detective novels and immersing herself in her newly discovered interest in history, particularly the reigns of kings and queens.
