We’re searching for a Melbourne-based Technical Data Archival Consultant to join our Data Services team, so that we can deliver high-quality, scalable data archival solutions to our healthcare clients. The Technical Data Archival Consultant will work with legacy healthcare systems and modern platforms to extract, transform, and validate data in order to support long-term retention and improve data accessibility across the organisation.

 

How You’ll Spend Your Time

  • Perform discovery and analysis on legacy systems to identify data structures and extraction requirements
  • Develop and execute SQL-based data extractions in order to support archival projects across multiple systems
  • Transform and load data into Azure-hosted archival platforms to ensure long-term data retention
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to build processes for handling complex data formats
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness

 

What Kind of Things We’re Most Interested in You Having

  • Proven experience in data consulting, data migration, or healthcare IT
  • Proven success in delivering data extraction, transformation, or archival projects
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL and working with structured healthcare datasets
  • Ability to work with EHR, patient accounting, ERP, or other healthcare systems
  • Sincere interest in healthcare technology and improving patient outcomes through data
  • A knack for working independently while managing client-facing projects
