Before joining RLDatix, Irena Karapeovska Mihajlovska spent 11 years as a dentist in a private healthcare setting, working directly with patients of all ages. Her role involved diagnosing and treating oral health conditions, providing preventive care, and helping patients improve their overall health.
But beyond the clinical care itself, Irena’s work was about relationships. She worked closely with patients every day, listening to their concerns, understanding their individual needs, and helping them feel heard and supported.
In a healthcare setting, where people often come to professionals during vulnerable moments, building that trust matters.
Her experience shaped how she sees healthcare today as she understands that “behind every process, decision, or improvement in healthcare, there is ultimately a person who is affected by it.” She developed this perspective through years of direct patient care and continues to apply it in her work today.
After many years in healthcare, Irena felt ready for a new challenge. She completed her undergraduate studies in Informatics.
At RLDatix, she could contribute to a field that's meaningful to her while pursuing her growing passion for technology.
Joining RLDatix was not a step away from healthcare. It was a new way to support it.
Today, as a Quality Engineer III, Irena brings her clinical perspective into the details of product quality.
Coming from a healthcare environment shapes the way she approaches her work. She explains, "I know how important reliability, accuracy, and usability are, especially when technology supports people working in healthcare."
For Irena, quality and reliability are not just technical goals. They are ways to help ensure the people and organizations using RLDatix solutions can trust the tools that support their work. So, she pays close attention to detail and thinks carefully about the real-world use of our solutions.
Her current work supports Expenses and HR Case solutions within healthcare organizations. Having worked directly in healthcare, Irena understands how much the people behind the scenes contribute to the overall healthcare environment.
She knowns that "when HR and administrative processes work efficiently, healthcare staff can spend more time and energy focusing on what matters most — providing quality care to patients."
While Irena no longer works directly with patients, her experience has shaped her current perspective on healthcare technologies. And now she is the one working to improve this technology, keeping her closely connected to the world of healthcare!
