We’re searching for a Utah-based Engineer III to join our Software Engineering team, so that we can deliver scalable, reliable software solutions that support safer healthcare delivery and operational efficiency. The Engineer III will design and implement backend systems, resolve technical challenges, and contribute to continuous improvement to ensure high-quality software aligned with RLDatix’s mission.
How You’ll Spend Your Time

Developing scalable software features using PHP and modern frameworks to meet evolving business requirements

Diagnosing moderately complex technical issues in order to maintain system reliability and performance

Building CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies to streamline delivery and ensure consistency

Implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively detect and resolve production issues

Adapting software architectures to accommodate ambiguous or changing requirements
What Kind of Things We’re Most Interested in You Having
-
Strong background in PHP development
-
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
-
Hands-on experience deploying and building applications on AWS
-
Solid understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
-
Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases
-
Experience with Git, Jenkins, or other CI tools
-
Experience in SaaS or enterprise-grade application environments
-
Exposure to healthcare, compliance, or security-focused products is a plus
-
Experience working in collaborative, Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

Ability to commute to Salt Lake City office 2–3 days a week

A knack for working independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
