We’re searching for a Richmond-based Senior Quality Engineer to join our R&D Engineering team, so that we can ensure reliable, high-quality software delivery across our healthcare operations platform. The Senior Quality Engineer will design and execute advanced testing strategies, build automated frameworks, and drive continuous quality improvements to ensure safer, better healthcare for all.

 

How You’ll Spend Your Time

  • Design end-to-end manual and automated testing strategies to ensure software reliability and alignment with evolving business requirements.

  • Implement risk-based testing methodologies across functional and non-functional domains in order to adapt to changing specifications.

  • Develop and maintain automated test suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable software releases.

  • Analyse defects and conduct advanced root cause investigations to drive sustainable solutions and prevent future issues.

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to validate requirements, assess risk, and align on quality objectives.

  • Monitor and report quality metrics and dashboards in order to detect emerging issues and communicate status effectively to stakeholders.

  • Facilitate continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and sharing QE expertise across the department.

 

What Kind of Things We’re Most Interested in You Having

  • Advanced knowledge of QE methodologies, automated and manual testing strategies, and test automation frameworks across complex systems.

  • Proven ability to independently identify, analyse, and resolve complex quality issues using advanced debugging and root cause techniques.

  • Experience designing and maintaining automated test suites fully integrated with CI/CD pipelines, including implementation of quality gates.

  • Strong adaptability in navigating ambiguous or evolving requirements, ensuring comprehensive testing coverage and risk mitigation.

  • Track record of implementing quality monitoring dashboards, defect tracking systems, and reporting metrics to continuously improve testing effectiveness.
