We’re searching for a Skopje-based Infrastructure Engineer to join our Corporate Information Systems team, so that we can strengthen and expand our global technology infrastructure. The Infrastructure Engineer will maintain, optimize, and support our IT systems and services to ensure that RLDatix teams around the world can deliver on our mission of safer healthcare for all.
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will report to the Infrastructure Lead, responsible for supporting the Corporate Information Systems department.
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will work alongside the Infrastructure Lead to support the global infrastructure which supports the business systems, applications, and processes. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will work with the Global IT team to develop an effective and workable framework for delivering an integrated IT infrastructure and services.
Prerequisites for this role are strong technical skills, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business. As a senior role you will be expected to coach and or lead more junior members of the team, suggest improvements and enhancements to the Infrastructure.
This will include liaising with internal and external stakeholders and how they work together.
A crucial part of the role is:
· Supporting the Infrastructure Lead in driving transformation within the business
· Act as a technical lead on infrastructure projects
· Mentoring, supporting and upskilling junior members of the team, as well as the wider infrastructure team
· Contributing to improving quality and ways of working in the infrastructure team
· Supporting the transition from traditional infrastructure management into a modern, cloud-based approach.
· Designing a secure, scalable and high available hosting infrastructure architecture solutions
· Supporting technical discovery for initiatives to improve our IT systems and security posture
· Keeping up to date with cloud technology (primarily Azure), implementing best practices and expanding the architectural possibilities within Azure
· Ensuring backup and recovery infrastructure is improved, maintained, and tested.
· Manage the group’s Technology infrastructure and services
· Proactive monitoring of all technology systems, working closely with the wider team and ServiceDesk
· Ensure all procedures are suitably documented and published in accordance with service standards
Additionally, this person will be responsible for:
· Interacts with the Service Desk to help resolve IT-related 2nd and 3rd line incidents and provide answers in a timely manner
· Escalate calls to internal and external support providers where necessary
The role requires an individual that has the ability to work to tight deadlines and has strong written and verbal skills. The role holder will be able to work well, both independently and in a team environment.

Experience/Knowledge You Will Need:
The candidate would ideally have:
Technical Requirements:
· Strong IT background around support and system administration
· Extensive identity & access management experience (Entra ID, AD DS, Azure AD DS, SSO)
· Strong experience of supporting on-prem and cloud services (Azure, Office 365)
· Strong experience of Windows Server, IIS, Active Directory
· Strong experience in networks across firewalls, routing & switching, VLANS and VPNs
· Experience with device management solutions like Intune or Endpoint Central
· Experience of supporting both Windows and Linux based systems
· A strong understanding of working with best practices in Cyber Security
· PowerShell and scripting experience
· Virtualization/Virtual Desktop experience
· ITIL framework experience
· Azure certifications
