We’re searching for a Macedonia-based People Operations Lead to join our Global People Operations team, so that we can ensure seamless delivery of HR services across 8 international locations. The People Operations Lead will oversee our Skopje-based People Ops team of three and stabilize processes during our HRIS (People Hub) implementation to ensure consistent, employee-focused HR operations worldwide.

 

How You’ll Spend Your Time

  • Lead, coach, and prioritize workload for a team of three People Operations Specialists, ensuring clarity, accountability, and performance.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex People Ops queries, ensuring a positive and solutions-oriented employee experience.
  • Oversee core People Operations processes such as onboarding, job changes, transfers, exits, HR data management, documentation, and compliance.
  • Drive standardization of HR processes across 8 countries, ensuring service levels and SLAs are met.
  • Partner with Payroll, People BPs, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and Business Systems to ensure smooth HR service delivery.
  • Play a key role in stabilizing HR processes post-HRIS go-live, overseeing hyper-care, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring team adoption of new workflows.
  • Maintain compliance with local employment laws and support audits with accurate documentation and HR records.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and automate processes, contributing to HR metrics and reporting for leadership.

What Kind of Things We’re Most Interested in You Having

  • 5+ years of People Operations or HR Generalist experience, with at least 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role.
  • Proven experience managing a People Ops/HR team and driving workload prioritization.
  • Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle processes, HR systems, and process refinement.
  • Experience with HRIS implementation or stabilization (prior exposure to global/multi-country HR operations a strong plus).
  • Solid understanding of compliance, data integrity, and audit readiness.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Excel, SharePoint); experience with ticketing systems preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and mentor team members effectively.
