We’re searching for a Skopje-based Engineer II to join our Production Engineering team and help strengthen the reliability, scalability, and performance of our global healthcare platform. As an Engineer II, you’ll design, build, and maintain the cloud infrastructure and deployment systems that underpin our software products—directly contributing to our mission of safer, better healthcare for all.
Build and Evolve Scalable Infrastructure
Design and maintain scalable cloud-based infrastructure following established engineering practices.
Automate infrastructure deployment using infrastructure-as-code and modern DevOps tooling to ensure consistency and reliability.
Support infrastructure enhancements by applying foundational technical knowledge to routine production scenarios.
Strengthen System Monitoring & Observability
Implement core monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system health and early issue detection.
Build and update dashboards to provide visibility into key system metrics.
Assist in analysing logs and metrics during routine incidents to support troubleshooting and resolution.
Resolve Technical Problems in Production
Diagnose standard technical issues within distributed environments using analytical problem-solving techniques.
Collaborate with colleagues to resolve incidents and document solutions for recurring issues.
Apply debugging techniques—sometimes with guidance—to support system reliability and performance.
Support Continuous Delivery Pipelines
Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of automated CI/CD pipelines for consistent software deployments.
Automate repetitive operational processes to reduce manual effort and improve release quality.
Document and refine pipeline procedures based on deployment learnings and requirements.
Collaborate and Share Knowledge
Partner with engineering and development teams to support reliable software deployment and operations.
Share technical insights and contribute to team documentation of engineering processes and tools.
Provide input that enhances operational best practices within team initiatives.
Promote Reliability & Uptime
Monitor system reliability and assist in executing preventative measures against incidents.
Help respond to outages and participate in post-incident reviews to drive continuous improvement.
Support best-practice implementation for uptime and resilience across team projects.
Ability to apply foundational technical knowledge across programming, system architecture, and domain-specific technologies in production environments.
Experience supporting monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to enhance system reliability and visibility.
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems of limited scope using established procedures and collaborative approaches.
Familiarity with automating deployment processes using CI/CD tools and basic scripting to improve release efficiency.
Interest in operational excellence, infrastructure reliability, and continuous improvement.
A collaborative approach and comfort working in cross-functional, agile environments.
