We’re searching for a Skopje-based Assistant Accountant to join our Financial Control team, so that we can ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance across our global organization. The Assistant Accountant will manage core accounting processes to support financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and business growth.
· Process cash book transactions and general ledger entries to maintain accurate financial records
· Post journals and reconcile balance sheet accounts in order to ensure accuracy and compliance
· Perform month-end close activities including accruals, prepayments, and P&L variance analysis to meet reporting deadlines
· Assist with VAT, corporation tax, and other statutory requirements to ensure regulatory compliance
· Support ad-hoc accounting tasks, acquisitions-related activities, and continuous process improvement to enhance efficiency
· Graduate degree in Accounting
· Up to five years’ experience within a finance operations function
· Advanced Excel skills and strong general ledger knowledge
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
· Strong spoken and written English skills
· Exposure to multicurrency accounting systems and Oracle NetSuite (desirable)
· A proactive, detail-oriented approach and ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
